The PARC Campus serves two distinct but interconnected purposes: an active research and archival facility and a public-facing space for learning and interpretation. The challenge was to create a signage system that could support the operational needs of staff and researchers while providing clear navigation and meaningful engagement for visitors.

Project Goals

We developed a cohesive signage and wayfinding system spanning both front- and back-of-house environments, creating a consistent visual language across the campus. Complementing the wayfinding, a series of interior and exterior interpretive panels introduces visitors to the research, collections, and activities taking place on site, connecting the public experience with the work happening behind the scenes.

In addition to general Interpretation, a family-focused look into each space was created. Featuring fun mascots and comic-styled information, the elements are printed on optically clear vinyl and installed on windows looking into key areas of the facility
